Other Nutrition Needs
At Flower Aston Nutrition, I offer one-on-one nutrition counseling (in person or virtual) to help my clients develop a healthier relationship with food and achieve their health goals. I work with clients to create personalized nutrition plans that address their specific health needs and goals.
Initial Consultation: One 60 minute session where I review, in detail, your health questionnaire, gather any other pertinent information, and complete an initial nutrition assessment. I will guide you on making some initial positive changes and setting up realistic, practical goals that are attainable and fits into your lifestyle.
Follow-up Sessions: 30–45-minute sessions arranged separately or as part of a package. We will answer your questions, review progress and goals set at previous session(s), provide additional education, identify additional resources, and provide accountability to help you achieve optimal health.
E-mail support: Light communication in between appointments to answer questions.
Tools: Depending on clients' needs digital and print handouts, resources, recipes, tools for meal planning, portions, grocery shopping etc.
Research indicates that it typically requires 12 weeks to observe significant changes when adopting new behaviors. This is precisely why our nutrition counseling packages are ideal for those seeking to establish enduring modifications to their eating habits.
3 Session: 60-minute initial, and two 45-minute follow-up appointments + option to extend at a discounted rate.
6 Session: 60-minute initial, two 45-minute follow ups, and three 30 minutes follow ups + option to extend at a discounted rate.
Embarking on a wellness journey after a diagnosis of a chronic condition (such as diabetes, pre-diabetes, hypertension, high cholesterol, PCOS) or a functional GI disorder (like IBS) can be overwhelming. If you find yourself with a generic nutrition handout, leaving you unsure where to begin, our 6-session package is tailored just for you.
Navigating through dietary restrictions can be challenging, especially when given a list of foods to eliminate without clear guidance. Our sessions aim to provide you with the knowledge and support needed to manage your chronic condition or GI issues effectively. We focus on crafting a personalized plan that allows you to incorporate foods you love, ensuring a balanced and enjoyable approach to your overall well-being.
I am pleased to offer a tailored nutrition education class on a topic of your choice. These classes can encompass a range of elements, including nutrition education, cooking demonstrations, and interactive workshops. The duration typically varies from 1 to 2.5 hours, depending on the specific nature of the class.
